I think that when people become celebritites they've made a choice. Even if you want to be an actor, you can be an actor without becoming a celebrity - like acting in theatre or independent cinema. And when actors become celebrities they KNOW that they're going to be in the media and limelight. If they didn't want the attention, they shouldn't have become famous.
However, I do feel sorry for them SOMETIMES. Especially people who didn't choose to be famous, like Cher's daughter or Prince William. It was just a random lottery for them.
I think celebrities get paid huge amounts of money, receive lavish gifts and accommodation etc, free clothes & jewelry so the price they pay for that lifestyle is that they have no privacy.
I feel that my life is better than a celebrity because I can do what I want and I know that all of my friends love me for who I am, and they don't just want to be around a celebrity. I think it would be difficult to tell whether people loved your fame & money. I think that's why so many celebrities date/fall in love with other celebrities, at least they know that person doesn't just love their fame.
There are a lot of people leading better lives than celebrities, and a lot of people leading worse lives than celebrities. The important thing to remember is that their life is THEIR CHOICE. They've spent years trying to become famous and now they've got what they wanted. And the media scrutiny too.
