Polls on how Americans saw the mainstream media (TV and print) election coverage in 2008:
-Rasmussen poll: 69% for Obama, 6% for McCain
-Pew Research poll: 67% for Obama, 11% for McCain

University of Connecticutâs Department of Public Policy survey of journalists, nationwide, during the 2008 election: 52% supported Kerry, versus 19% for Bush.
8/27/10 The Examiner: âObama and Democrats got 88% of 2008 contributions by TV network execs, writers, reportersâ: Senior executives, on-air personalities, producers, reporters, editors, writers and other self-identifying employees of ABC, CBS and NBC contributed more than $1 million to Democratic candidates and campaign committees in 2008. Democratic total of $1,020,816 was given by 1,160 employees of the three major broadcast television networks, with an average contribution of $880. By contrast, only 193 of the employees contributed to Republican candidates and campaign committees, for a total of $142,863.

-2008 Pew poll: Fox viewers are least politically skewed: 39% are Republicans, 33% are Democrats 33%, while at CNN viewers 51% Democrat and 18% Republican.
You can bet the farm on this: Democrats don't respond in-kind; they will offer no polls proving Fox is as biased as their "news sources" are; they'll go into their OWS mode where their master tells them to chant after him: âFox News lies!â â and thatâs what theyâll do, in a trance-like state. They'll completely ignore that their media is the lapdog-promoter of every perverse anti-Constitution issue which exists today: illegal immigration isn't illegal; racial quotas based on skin color isn't racism; socialized medicine isnât socialized medicine; the tax to finance Obamacare isnât a tax, even though the Supreme Court says it is.
The democrat partyâs modus operandi is clear, seen by all Americans (thanks to Fox News, talk radio and the blessed Internet): âWhen one lies, one should lie big, and stick to itâ (1/12/41 Die Zeit, Nazi Joseph Goebbels).
But why do they lie?
-2/4/10 Gallup poll: 61% of liberals have a positive view of socialism.
-6/2/11 Gallup poll: 71% of democrats favor re-distributing wealth.
-Now they have their national health care, the hallmark of all socialist nations.

The past history of liberals having total control of the news media, is why Fox gets so much attention by liberals. Before Fox and Rush, going back to the Walter Cronkite era, liberals had nearly 100% control of the news media. Aside from Wall Street Journal and National Review, liberals had nearly 100% control of news reporting.
All those years of complete control, conditioned liberals to believe its an entitlement for the liberal point of view to have 100% control of news reporting. This means no tolerance for any view point but theirs.
Once Rush and Fox finally emerged, liberals became outraged, how dare a news reporting group, deviate from what the others do?
Liberal news groups do not allow alternative opinions, their internal cultures are made up of political activists. Liberals news groups do not hire conservative employees, its not allowed.
Presenting both points of view was adopted by FOX because the liberal news media has never done that, this is a large reason why FOX has become so popular and successful. Not saying FOX is 50/50 but they do have a number of liberals on their staff, something that no liberal news group can claim.
A good example of the bias is how the media saw Nixon's wrong doings, news people like Dan Rather and Sam Donaldson, literally were obsessed to bring down Nixon. Later, when the Clinton's widespread corruption was investigated, liberal news groups trivialized and stonewalled for the Clintons. Although the Clintons had 10x the amount of criminal activity and abuse of power as Nixon, the only thing liberals see the Clintons guilty of was his BJ from Monica.
If you have the ability to be objective, you can't be a liberal, liberalism is an emotionally based ideology that is mutually exclusive with objectivity and reality.
