One Direction vs Justin Bieber who is more unstable and why?

Emily

Personally I like One Direction better, because like some of their harmonies, their music is catchy, and they seem like they care about what goes on in the world.

JB just seems colder late, because when he was in UK he through fit, and was late to his concert then he was booed. Then he lashed out at a journalist, because he said something that offended him, then he afterwards he vowed to never go back to the UK making him a bit of a hypocrite.

I looked up both 1Ds and JBs concert/interview schedule, and they look to be extremely busy this can add alot of stress to young artists. The British media seems to be a lot more aggressive than the american media. I will never understand, because I am not famous probably never be famous.

So who is more unstable 1D or JB, and why? And why is the other more emotional stable?

PS I know a lot of people don't like either of their music or in your words racket, so don't comment on their music just answer the Q.

Answer
Hm. Good question. Lately Bieber has seemed quite stressed out lately, which doesn't surprise me much. I mean, look at the guy, look at ANY celeb, really, and look at how much they're put through. I'd say both Justin Bieber and One Direction are both under a lot of stress, we're just hearing more about Justin. The tabloids are refraining from putting ugly stuff in about 1D because they know tweens aren't gonna like it, throw a fit, call them a liar, they lose rep, so on. Justin's old news, so they're putting in trash about him so the public doesn't lose interest in him. One day there's gonna be a band or singer even bigger than One Direction and the same thing is going to happen to them.

A prosecutor has announced that he will not prosecute residents in his county who carry concealed. As you already know the State is a gun control paradise for many of you Brady Campaign loons and forbids concealed carry. So what is your take on it?

Answer
That is in Madison County and while I applaud him, I suspect Lisa Madigan (the IL AG) will probably call him up moaning.
IL was to have the CCW requirements in place by June 9. They did not. Madigan asked for an extension. It was granted because as Madigan says "Gov Quinn needs more time to review the legislation". Most of us call BS on this because both Quinn and Madison are total gun advocates and are no doubt trying to find a way to keep guns out of the hands of IL citizens. I predict the requirements will be so extensive or so costly most people will not be able to obtain the permits.

What gun control laws did Great Britain have when the American colonies revolted?

water_skip

What gun control laws did Great Britain have when the American colonies revolted? It seems to me that if the United States put the right to keep and bear arms in its constitution, it must have been from a bad British experience. Was it just because they wanted civilians to revolt against the government, or was there a gun control law Britain had they felt was unreasonable?

Answer
The Right to Bear Arms or Arm Bears is a tricky issue. The issue as applied to the American Colonies was complex. There was no out & out ban against guns. An unenforceable tenet in a time & place when hunting game & killing the natives was expected. What Britain did to anger the Coloniest was to insist that they get their guns & powder from Britain, through commercial channels that could be policed. And the amount of weapons and especially powder that an individual could own was the biggest bone of contention. A man might argue that he needs a rifle and a certain amount of powder but when that man owns more than a dozen rifles and several barrels of powder, well he might be agitating against authority.

Authority was the the issue in the American Colonies. When Britain asserted authority by demanding that Americans enumerate their weapons & stores of powder and restricted the amount of gunpowder imported into the colonies and prevented th colonies from starting a gunpowder manufactury of their own, the Americans got angry. Hence the ammendent proclaiming the right to bear arms.

(and that amednment didn't come into play until after the American Revolution, in 1789 when the US Constitution was cobbled together and ratified)

Note the odd paralell in Iraq circa 2007 wherein citizens must register their one gun per person with the authorities and keep a careful inventory of bullets bought, etc.

Here is link and snippets...
http://www.fff.org/freedom/0694e.asp
"""------------The early British colonists, imbued with the English distrust for standing military establishments as a threat to civil liberties, incorporated the tradition of the citizen-soldier. In 1636, the first militia unit, the North Regiment of Boston, was formed, followed two years later by the Ancient and Honorable Artillery Company, the oldest American military unit in existence.

One of the first acts of Parliament following the accession of William and Mary to the throne of England as a result of the Glorious Revolution of 1688 was to restore the old constitution with its provision that every man may arm for self-defense.

In 1760, Britain began adopting mercantilist policies toward her American colonies. By 1768, these had produced such hardships and a reversal of the previous prosperity that British troops had to be sent to suppress riots and collect taxes.

Between 1768-1777, the British policy was to disarm the American colonists by whatever means possible, from entrapment, false promises of safekeeping, banning imports, seizure, and eventually shooting persons bearing arms.

By 1774, the British had embargoed shipments of arms to America, and the Americans responded by arming themselves and forming independent militia companies.

On the night of 18 April 1775, General Gage, Governor of Massachusetts, dispatched several hundred soldiers of the Boston garrison under the command of Major Pitcairn to seize the arms and munitions stored by the illegal colonial militias in Concord.

When Pitcairn encountered the Minutemen on the Lexington common blocking his way, he demanded that they throw down their arms and disperse. Although willing to disperse, the Minutemen were not willing to surrender their arms. The rest is history.

Three days after the British retreat from Concord, General Gage refused to allow Bostonians to leave the city without depositing their arms and ammunition with a Selectman at Faneuil Hall, to be returned at a suitable time after their return. When the citizens of Boston foolishly complied, Gage seized the arms and refused to permit their owners to leave the city. ("Declaration of the Causes and Necessity of Taking up Arms," July 6, 1775.)

The news of Gage's seizure of the arms of Bostonians not engaged in hostilities and rumors of British troops sailing from England to seize the arms of the colonists swept the colonies.

The colonists considered these actions a violation of their constitutionally guaranteed right to have and use arms for self-preservation and defense, as indeed they were.

In 1777, William Knox, Under Secretary of State for Colonial Affairs, advocated for the American colonies the creation of a ruling aristocracy loyal to the Crown, the establishment of the Church of England, and an unlimited power to tax. To prevent resistance to these measures, Knox proposed disarming all the people:

The Militia Laws should be repealed and none suffered to be re-enacted & the Arms of all the People should be taken away, & every piece of Ordnance removed into the King's Stores, nor should any Foundry or manufacture of Arms, Gun-powder, or Warlike Stores, be ever suffered in America, nor should any Gunpowder, Lead, Arms or Ordnance be imported into it without License; they will have but little need of such things for the future, as the King's Troops, Ships & Forts will be sufficient to protect them from danger.

We hear the same argument today. You don't need arms for your own protection. The police and military will protect you. The question is, who will protect us from the protectors? """"

@ Mark: "Perverts" are you defending yourself here, because I doubt you even know a handful of LGB Folks. So, give us the reasons you dislike us. I'm sure we can, prove you wrong one theory at a time here.

Answer
Frankly, I'm apprehensive about the Prop 8 case. I'm a little more hopeful about DOMA because it *does* violate the full faith and credit clause, as I understand it, but still, I'd have been happier if they'd left the Prop 8 case alone. Absolute best case scenario, it means I (and every other person in a long-term same-sex relationship in CA) have to wait at least another seven months to actually be allowed to marry my partner. It seems more likely they want to reverse the 9th Circuit's decision (especially given that the 9th Circuit is one of the most frequently overturned circuits in the country).

Really, why did Larry King choose to interview Paris Hilton? People don't like her and they're sick of hearing about her. She doesn't belong on the nightly news. She belongs in gossip columns. Enough already. Why doesn't the media cover real news and leave the celebrity gossip to People, US, and Star Magazine?

Answer
I would guess RATINGS is their #1 reason. However, like all institutions they are caught in their own bubble & can't see beyond each other. So they are trying to compete with each other, but not paying any attention to the mass public who is beyond tired of the so called celebrities & their dismal lives. While the real world spins by, CNN & others are twiddling there thumbs in la la land, believing they've one-upped their competition. To bad they don't know their competition is Entertainment Tonight or Access Hollywood or any of the other silly tabloid shows.
Kudos to Barbara Walters for turning Ms. Hilton down!
Thumbs way down for Larry King dumping Michael Moores one hour interview about the ailing health care system, just to yack with her!!!
Way Way Way thumbs up for Jon Stewart to have Michael Moore on the same night he was suppose to do the Larry King show!

English actor Rupert Everett reportedly accused British soldiers fighting in Iraq and Afghanistan of being âwhining wimps.âAcording to the U.K.âs Daily Mail, the 49-year-old gay actor â whose father is a retired major in the British Army â said the troops today âare always whining about the dangers of being killed. Oh my God, they are such wimps now!â he said. Oh boy this guy is absolutely screwed. You hate the war, never the soldiers. There is going to be a huge backlash from this statement, just wait.

naw dude. I can't stand how people place it in high priority when there are real important matters to know about around the world. It's sad how our nation is rotting their brain with stupidity. I don't see shiz that should be interesting about the goings about of people who want to be known publicly. Am afraid there's nothing anyone can do about it. Stupidity is contagious and am afraid the US is largely contaminated with ignorance. I for one do not read or watch anything about celebretard gossip. I guess we can make a change by not falling into their magazines and gossip channels and websites.

how did buying stocks on margin contribute to the stock market crash?

Mahmoud

help me plzzzzzz

Answer
I am not sure it was a factor in the 2008 crash....but it certainly a factor in the 1929 crash.

When you buy on margin you are in effect borrowing money from your broker under the understanding that he can call in this loan at any time and you pay a daily interest payment on this loan.

Back in the roaring 20's the stock market was very active. Times were pretty good following WWI and a lot of investors relied heavily on using their margin account

Let us give you a scenaro...you have $50,000 in your brokerage account....invested in a variety of stocks....your broker gives you margin of another $50,000 that you can borrow on. This sounds great as to date you have not made a bad decision....so you buy another $50,000 worth of shares and happily pay the daily interest because you are scoring a lot of extra money.

This became epidemic in the 1920's lots and lots of people wanted the "easy money" (kinda sounds familiar eh?) so they opened margin accounts and used them to the max.

The one day there was bad news and stocks dropped...maybe there was a week of bad news and the brokers were nervous...they gave their clients 24 hours to pay back the money they owe on the margin....the people had no more money...they were fully invested +all in on the margin.

Suddenly they found out that the brokers had the right to sell their stocks without their permission. There was panic and prices were falling as people tried to sell their stocks to payback their loans. The the brokers stepped in....they started to sell the clients stock....not the poorly performing stocks....no,no....they sold off the best ones so they could get their money back as fast as possible....clients were wiped out by this action and window-jumping was a popular way to end-it-all.

That is why using margin foolishly can be very dangerous...I was shocked to see a daytrader in recent messages here who apparently maxed his holdings + margin on his account to day-trade. Very dangerous IMHO...a bad trade can wipe you out doing this.

I am not sure this happened in 2008 but I am sure some investors fell this way...

What happened to Sonic the Hedgehog?

Alexander

Wow, Sonic the Hedgehog for PS3/Xbox 360 is one of the worst games in the world. The graphics were worse than Halo 2 for Xbox and The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess for Wii. I was very upset after playing the game.

What happened to Sonic?

Sonic the Hedgehog 1, 2, 3, and Sonic and Knuckles were OUTSTANDING games! Then they had to release Sonic Spinball, Dr. Robotnik's Mean Bean Machine, followed by these stupid Gamegear and Sega Saturn Sonic games. Then they released the worst Sonic games on different platforms. Then, a new light hit Sonic in Sonic Adventure 1 and 2 for Dreamcast, and now garbage again.

I really hope that the Sonic game for the Wii wont be that bad. Any good news on it?

Answer
You're trying to make a comparison to a $20 game that was in production for 6 months, to two full-price critically-acclaimed blockbuster games that were in production for over a year each? That's like trashing the economical Ford Escort because it's not as powerful as a high-performance V10 muscle car.

I'm in agreeance with several other people here, the high-speed 8-directon action of the 16-bit generation 2D Sonic games are difficult to capture in a 3D engine. And, a 3D engine is a must, because the average stupid consumer won't touch a 2D game, even if it was universally heralded as the best game of it's generation (case point, Castlevania: Symphony of the Night didn't sell until it was a value-priced game, and even then it didn't outsell 3D garbage like Fighting Force II).

Something else to consider is the current state of Sega development teams since the Sega / Sammy merging into Sega Sammy Holdings. Sega Sammy has been busy restructuring the company, and as a result they have been cutting software R&D on large projects. Only smaller value-based projects and popular licenses are being used at the moment. According to Sega Sammy investor media, Sega Sammy will start development of more blockbuster games that Sega had been known for, in late 2007 and 2008. So, in the mean time, the quality of some Sega games may be suffering due to this corporate restructuring.

I mean, every news I come across on TV always has some celebrity talk, which is very very annoying because it's a waste a time and I don't care! Does anyone agree? Does anyone know why it's so "important" for the public to hear on TV about them?

Answer
Okay, allow me to explain this to you. A celebrity is a person, who has a prominent profile and commands some degree of public fascination and influence in day-to-day media. The term is often synonymous with wealth (commonly denoted as a person with fame and fortune), implied with great popular appeal, prominence in a particular field, and is easily recognized by the general public. They usually become a celebrity because they have some talent, not always though as proven by Kim Kardashian and Paris Hilton who are celebrities without having any talent what so ever.

Okay, now comes the part that is apparently difficult for you to understand. Because they are in the public eye, the media is of the opinion that people have an interest in hearing about them and believe it or not, many people actually do. There are entire magazines and entertainment programs dedicated to celebrities and they are read and watched by millions.

So while I personally agree with you that celebrity news is a waste of time, that opinion is no more than a personal opinion which isn't shared by many others. Celebrities often make their millions because they are in the public eye. The media therefore reports about them, whether we like it or not.

Who the heck is Kim Kardashian and why should I care?

Q. I've seen/heard her name mentioned frequently in the last little while. I know she's famous, but I don't know why. Apparently she has good fashion sense. I don't read a lot of celebrity gossip, but I still like to understand pop culture references.

Can someone explain to me who Buddy Holly is/was?

Answer
"Buddy Holly

Charles "Buddy" Hardin Holley was born September 7, 1936 in Lubbock, Texas to Laurence and Ella Holley. By age 13, Holly and his friend Bob Montgomery were playing a kind of music they called "Western Bop," as well as mainstream country songs which they performed at local clubs.

Holly's first opportunity in the music industry came when a scout from Decca Records saw the duo opening a local rock show for Bill Haley and the Comets. Decca signed Holly, alone, to produce a few singles. Afterward, however, Decca decided Holly wasn't quite ready yet, and they advised him to return to Lubbock and keep working on his music.

Holly followed the advice, and with the help of some friends formed his own band, "The Crickets." Holly was the group's guitarist and vocalist. Much of the band's music was produced by Norman Petty's studios in Clovis, New Mexico. Among the songs they recorded was a lively version of "That'll Be the Day," which caught Decca's attention once again. From that moment on, the group's songs were released on Decca's subsidiary, the Brunswick label.

The group's musical talent, together with Holly's unique "excited" style of singing, quickly made them a success. Songs such as "Maybe Baby," "Oh Boy!" and Holly's solo hit "Peggy Sue" became extremely popular, especially among teenagers.

Holly and the Crickets also entered areas of music such as rhythm and blues, which until then had been exclusive to black artists. Once they were even mistaken for a black group and booked to perform at the Apollo Theater. Although at first the band was booed, by their third day of performing they had become a hit.

The Crickets were also extremely successful abroad. In March of 1958, they toured Great Britain, and eventually became more popular there than in the United States. Later that same year, Holly met Maria Elena Santiago, a receptionist for a New York City music publisher. Two weeks later, they were married. After a short honeymoon, the couple returned to Lubbock, Holly's home town. Feeling that the Crickets could produce their own music, Holly broke relations with Petty. However, the rest of the group didn't agree, and this caused Holly to leave the group. Soon afterwards, Holly and Maria Elena moved to New York where he performed with a new group of musicians.

In 1959, as part of a rock show, Holly toured with Ritchie Valens and "The Big Bopper," J.P. Richardson. They began the tour riding from performance to performance in buses, which kept breaking down. One day, after a concert at the Surf Ballroom in Clear Lake, Iowa, Holly chartered a small plane to get the musicians to the next town. He had hoped to get them there with extra time to rest. On the morning of February 3rd, the plane carrying Holly, Valens and Richardson took off from Mason City, Iowa. Sadly, the plane crashed after traveling eight miles, and everyone on board was killed.

Maria Elena, pregnant at the time of Holly's tragic death, miscarried shortly after hearing the news. Years later, she remarried and raised three children. Maria Elena now lives in Texas and is a vibrant grandmother who tours the world promoting her first husband's legacy.

Despite a rather short career on the charts, Holly's innovative style, as well as his enthusiastic and energetic performances, made him one of the most popular singers in music history."

Why has child molestation committed by illegal aliens become an epidemic?
⢠October 15, 2009

Contrary to what President Bush often claimed, family values do stop at the Rio Grande for many illegal aliens. In addition to suppressing wages, bankrupting our hospitals, and over-crowding our jails and public schools, illegal aliens are preying upon our children.

Source : EXAMINER.COM

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Dave Gibson

April 21, 2009

Contrary to what President Bush often claimed, family values do stop at the Rio Grande for many illegal aliens. In addition to suppressing wages, bankrupting our hospitals, and over-crowding our jails and public schools, illegal aliens are preying upon our children

In Operation Predator sweeps across the country conducted between 2003-2007, Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents nabbed over 10,700 foreign national child molesters. Many of these predators had been previously convicted of other crimes, and many had already been deported once. The number predators apprehended in the sweeps actually only represent the tip of the iceberg.

In fact, a study conducted by the Violent Crimes Institute reports that between 1999 and 2006, there were nearly 1,000,000 sex crimes committed in the United States by illegal aliens.

Using U.S. Department of Justice, Immigration, as well as state and local law enforcement data, Deborah Schurman-Kauflin of the Violent Crimes Institute determined that there are no less than 240,000 illegal alien sex offenders currently inside the U.S.

A very cursory search on the subject of illegal aliens committing acts of child molestation turned up countless examples of the growing problem. The following are two recent ones:

On April 17, 2009, Judge Cecil Puryear in Lubbock, TX, sentenced illegal alien and Mexican national Julian Vasquez to 15 years in prison for a July 2008 incident in which Vasquez broke into an apartment and sexually assaulted a 13-year-old girl.

Vasquez broke forced his way into the dwelling located in Cora Apartments, and shoved the girl onto the bed, tore off her shirt and bra, and fondled her breasts, according to court documents.

The girl was able to fight off Vasquez and ran into the bathroom, where she was able to call 911. When officers arrived, they found Vasquez still trying to open the bathroom door.

The only defense offered by Vasquezâs attorney, Jesse Mendez, was that his client was drunk when he committed the frightening assault.

Lubbock County prosecutor Jennifer Basset told reporters: âThis is an appropriate sentence for a stranger who broke into a house to molest a child. And this is a case where the effects on this child will not be forgotten by her, and this is a serious crime in Lubbock County.â

On April 14, 2009, illegal alien and Salvadoran national Isaac Mendez Ramirez, 24 was arrested in Largo, FL and charged with two counts of capital sexual battery.

Ramirez is accused of molesting a 7-year-old girl in November 2008 and again in January 2009. According to the arrest report, Ramirez lives with the little girl but is not related to her. He is being held in the Pinellas County Jail.

In 2007, Americans For Legal Immigration Political Action Committee (ALIPAC) tracked child sexual assaults committed by illegal aliens. In a 30 day period, they recorded 27 assaults by foreign nationals illegally inside the United States. The results are as follows:

July 28, 2007
Milwaukee, Oregon
Charged: Alejandro Emetrio âAlexâ Rivera Gamboa, 24, and Gilberto Javier Arellano-Gamboa, 23
Charges: rape and murder
Victim: Dani Countryman of Texas (15 years old)

August 6, 2007
Trenton, N.J.
Charged: Jose Carranza, 28
Charges: child rape (later charged with murder of Newark teenagers as well)
Victim: childâs name withheld

August 16, 2007
Huron, Ohio
Charged: Lucio Sanchez-Martinez
Charge: gross sexual imposition of a minor
Victim: 8 year old girl

August 20, 2007
Oregon City, Oregon
Charged: Alejandro Hernandez-Flores, 19 and Mario Alberto Flores-Estrada, 20
Charges: rape, sodomy, and sexual abuse
Victims: two girls ages 14 and 15

Answer
You're pretty good with them if questions. What if your child was raped by a citizen would you just ignore it because an illegal is not involved or you going to be like Bateman's parents coming on here to fight the illegals when Mark his self was using drugs. I don't ever hear them admit that though. No they just come here pissed at illegals like they are the only ones who murder in America.

You too come here and post about illegals like they are the only guilty ones of anything in America. Why then do you choose to ignore the fact that by the numbers given in the information you gave for the year 2007 looks like there would have been about 325 cases of sexual assault committed by illegal aliens. But what about the other average annual 140,990 completed rapes, 109,230 attempted rapes, and 152,680 completed and attempted sexual assaults between 1992 and 2000.
That's right you are ignoring some 140,675 other cases for what reason, to make it unacceptable for ANY illegal to be in the United States.

The average annual number for the years 1992 to 2000 of 140,990 victims do not include all age groups, so unlike the links you leave out here is mine.

Here is one of the ones you forgot,

Man convicted in child's videotaped sexual assault

After deliberating for more than four hours, a jury convicted a Nevada man of 22 counts Tuesday for videotaping himself sexually assaulting a toddler, CNN affiliates report.
The rape occurred before the girl's third birthday, while she was in the care of a baby-sitter her mother had hired, he said. The mother did not know the girl had been victimized. After the girl was found, authorities asked CNN and other news organizations to stop showing her picture.
The man who turned the tape over to authorities, Darrin Tuck, faced criminal charges because of the delay in turning it over, during which authorities alleged he showed it to others.
A judge gave Tuck a one-year suspended sentence and three years of probation in April after he pleaded guilty to conspiracy to obstruct a public officer, according to the Las Vegas Review-Journal. He initially had faced a felony count of possession of child pornography.

Looks like his friend got off easy - real easy.
But if that little bit of truth didn't hurt then you just have to read my last last link - he may have got the worst and best in this deal - just keep saying its all about the Benjamin's.

Illegal Alien Child Molester Gets $4 Million

Lawmakers in one of Californiaâs largest counties have secretly approved awarding an illegal immigrant child molester more than $4 million because he was beaten by fellow inmates while in custody.
The Orange County Board of Supervisors made the decision in a closed-door session, according to an local newspaper that made the settlement public this week. The lawsuit had been filed by an illegal immigrant from Mexico who was jailed after molesting a 6-year-old girl at a park.

celebrity gossip because your ugly image
Q. Okay, so every time somebody looks at me, I assume there talking about me. Even if its my mom I say "Stop starring at me" because I think she's saying in her mind that I look ugly. Even if somebody glances at me I assume there talking or thinking mean things about me. So is there something wrong with me like being too self conscious??
Don't leave rude answers like that a**hole below me.

Answer
You could feel that way for a number of reasons. Quite possibly you've been hurt in the past. Maybe you've had a number of bitchy girls at school insulting or downgrading your looks - maybe you still do. If not, it could just be your own self consciousness. It's easy to feel unworthy when you look at celebrities, models, or even people at school/work who you (in your own mind) see as superior. Just remember, not everyone will think you are beautiful but not everyone will think you are ugly. To one person you may be the most unattractive girl they've ever seen and to another you are the prettiest they have ever laid eyes on. However, most likely they are not talking about you, at least not about your looks. Believe me I hear gossip all the time and when someone is trash-talking, it's rarely about someone's looks unless they've recently done something to piss that person off (such as stealing their boyfriend). Take it from someone who's been there and still goes through and has the feelings you have. There is nothing wrong with you.

Why is our society so obsessive about celebrites?

Q. I mean why exactly do we have all those gossip magazines and tv shows that just talk about the personal lives of other people? what's the point? Do average Americans really care more about Britney and Miley more than they do about actual news? I just don't get why so many people take pleasure in ridiculing other people's problems!

Answer
People are attracted to celebrity news because it's an "escape" from actual news, but sometimes it's an escape that seems to becoming something of an addition, and it's a growing concern according to some experts in the audience studies, communications, law enforcement/security and psychology fields. A few years back several academics in the US and the UK did studies on what they called "Celebrity Worship Syndrome...results were pretty mixed...with much of it shifting to the negative.

Yes, you can hear about obsession in its extreme such as John David Chapman killing John Lennon, or people attempting to assasinate presidents to impress other celebrities, but yet celebrity obsession is not just an "American" thing as some would believe, either. It's very much an international issue...celebrity obsession and stalking has become a problem in Britain and other parts of Europe. Australian TV plans to run a series on the issue of fame, stalking and obsession next month...so it's also an issue there, too.

Asia has its own unique problems with celebrity obsession that you don't see or hear much about in the rest of the world. Sometimes, the celebrity obsession thing over there can get very intense and ugly, too. In Japan, there's actually a derogatory word for such an obsession: Okatu. It's usually geared towards Anime fans, but can also refer to celebrity obsessed folks as well

A few true stories reported in the Asian media but didn't quite make to the mainstream US or European media:

In S. Korea, a pop star called U-Know was nearly poisoned by an anti-fan. She put super glue into a drink she gave him! The likelihood of stars meeting anti-fans there are just as strong as meeting regular fans.

In India, fans were very upset because Shilpa Shettyone of their top Bollywood stars and Richard Gere kissed! An action that no one in the US or Europe would even give a second though. Yet, the upset re: this specific breach of Indian culture and tradition escalated to the point of protests and effigy burning in some communities there. There were even calls for Gere's arrest!

In China last year, there was a gal, Yang Lijuan, who was so obsessed by an actor named Andy Lau that her family actually SOLD their house to go to hong kong for a meet and greet. This woman had been obsessed by Lau since age 16, and had actually dropped out of school to make the full time observation of him her career! The 29 year old woman complained to her father about how unhappy she was about getting to have only a few minutes with the star. The father wrote Lau a 12 page letter saying that it was the celebrity's fault that his family was now homeless and in ruins...and then the dad jumped off a bridge and killed himself! The gal tried to say it was the star's fault her dad was dead...and was STILL demanding to spend time with him. Crazy, no? This story was the talk of China and other parts of Asia for quite a while.

Sad thing here is that such nutjobs around the world give regular fans of celebrities a bad name. People figure if one is psycho and obsessed then they ALL must be psycho and obsessed...and that's just simply not fair.

I don't know how possible to make your own pushup pads. I suggest to consider investing in a new bikini, or at least a new bikini top. Try a few on before deciding to make sure you have an effect you like.

What style and color prom dress would be best for me?

Cassidy

Hi everyone! I'm very tall, about 5'11", and I would consider myself pear-shaped with an average weight. I also have very broad shoulders from swimming.

As for coloring, I have pale skin with pink undertones, green eyes, and dark brown hair.

What color/style prom dress do you think would be best for me?? I really like the idea of an empire waist dress, but I'm not sure if it would be figure-flattering.
Thanks so much for your help!

Answer
I've found that it helps to try and see if there is a celebrity out there with your general body type. Once you've found her, it helps to look at pictures of her on red carpets, and see the type of dress that she tends to wear. That way, you can see what may or may not look good on you!

If your body is shaped like Rihanna's, you are somewhat of a "modified" pear:
http://www.whyfame.com/gossip/2008/august/13/rihanna_in_a_bikini_main_3288.jpg
You likely have a slim waist that gradually transitions into hips that are wider than your bust. However, the difference is that your shoulders somewhat balance out your hips. Therefore, the best silhouette for you would be a sheath style dress that comes to the knee or slightly shorter. Necklines that reveal your shoulders are best, such as a halter, wide V-neck or strapless sweetheart style. Opt for a slim-fitting bodice, which will accentuate your silhouette. Boat necks also look great, but stay away from scoopnecks or jewel necks, which will make your shoulders look broader. Empire waists look fantastic on you. Your body type looks great in little cocktail dresses with embellishments such as beading, sequins, or ruching at the neckline and bust.

http://www.nicolemiller.com/STRETCH_CDC_GOWN/pd/c/114/np/114/p/2717.html

If you are shaped more like Alicia Keys or Jennifer Love Hewitt, you are the "traditional" pear shape:
http://www.whyfame.com/gossip/2009/august/4/jennifer_love_hewitt_almost_thin_again_main_11187.jpg
http://img.dailymail.co.uk/i/pix/2008/05_01/keyesSPLASH3004_468x793.jpg
You have a slim waist and wide hips, but your shoulders do not balance your hips. The best silhouette in this case would be a structured A-line. As for the rest of the dress, the same guidelines listed above apply.

What do you think the percentage of the American people believed that 9/11 bombing was an inside job?

latest news about boston bombing
on ... skinz: CBS New York News: Hunt Continues For Boston Bombing Suspect
latest news about boston bombing image

Nainai55

Bush administration blamed it to terrorist and we heard news about terrorism arround the world..but who orchestrated and supported terrorists? If 9/11 was an inside job then American government is controlling the whole world with terrorism. I'm scared really.

Answer
I don't think that statistic is easily available but it's more all the time. The rest of your question is right on track. Our CIA financed the mujaheddin which later became Al Qaeda. They were OUR asset see this:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kYvO3qAlyTg

Now let's see why the percentage of Americans believing 9/11 was an inside job will ONLY INCREASE (and never decrease) over time: Please watch this first video linked here. Itâs only one minute. Youâre going to be impressed. This is a local news video of a witness named Kenny Johannemann testifying to explosions that happened in the basement of one of the WTC towers. While he is testifying you still see both of the twin towers burning behind him in the background. This was live footage and it's only ONE minute long. Go ahead and watch this here:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yEuzU3LMgCA
(YouTube Key Words: Johannemann suicide)

Those explosions were from charges that were set up to weaken the structure preparatory to pulling the tower. You say, âwait, this doesnât fit anything I know, maybe there is some other explanation for those explosions in the basement.â True. This is just one piece of evidence, but itâs a piece of evidence that raises a lot of questions. You didnât see this on TV either. Does that prick your interest?

The government has promoted a âtheoryâ that maybe the fuel from the jet trickled down the elevator shafts into the basement and subsequently exploded. Could this be? Letâs continue and look at other evidence. Barry Jennings was another witness that got stuck in Building Seven during 9/11. Remember, Building Seven was NEVER hit by a jet. In Barry's case an explosion blew out a stair well below him leaving him hanging and stranded for hours until the fire department got him out. Both the twin towers went down during the time he was stranded. Building Seven, a tall building in itâs own right (47 stories tall), came down at around 5:20 (later that day). Fortunately, he was saved. Watch his account here:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PbbZE7c3a8Q
(YouTube Key Words: Barry Jennings dead age â more hits when âdead ageâ excluded)

Again, the explosions he talked about were from charges that were set up to weaken the structure preparatory to pulling down this building. You say, âHold On! Building Seven housed the FBI and the CIA offices, so who would have access to set up explosives in there? There has got to be another explanation.â True. This is just one piece of evidence which raises more questions. Again, you didn't see Barryâs testimony on TV.

William Rodriguez, head janitor at the towers, was meeting with some people in basement level #1 (the highest of several basement levels) when an explosion from below pushed everyone upwards, causing ceiling tiles to fall and walls to crack. Just as William started to express to others what he thought that explosion might be, an airplane hit and shook the building from above. His story begins at 9:31 here:

http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=4380137365762802294&ei=beHcSfiDF4L8qAPn2eD4DQ&q=William+Rodriguez&hl=en
(Google Video Key Words: William Rodriguez)

Now, letâs look for other different kinds of evidence. Steve Jones, a physicist, obtained WTC dust samples from the collapsed WTC towers from people who lived nearby. He analyzed it and found that the dust contained residues of explosives. Steve Jones first became famous when he became known as the âvoice of reasonâ during the Pons / Fleischman "Cold Fusion" debacle of 1989, if you remember that. For a Nuclear Physicist, like Steve Jones, analyzing dust samples for explosive residues is a relatively simple task. It may be similar to asking a PhD mathematician to do arithmetic. He reported his detailed findings here in Boston:

http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=1957490867030316250&ei=JspdSaLNBZa4qAObztThDw&q=steve+jones+boston
(Google Video Key Words: Steve Jones Boston)

In this lecture, you recall, he offered other scientists to take parts of his samples in order to analyze the "red chips" that he had recently discovered. That was December 2007. These specks have now, in fact, been confirmed to be unexploded ânanostructured super-thermiteâ particles. That confirmation is not just a smoking gun IT IS THE GUN. See the article here:

http://www.prisonplanet.com/scientists-find-active-super-thermite-in-wtc-dust.html

The actual paper in its entirety can be found here in PDF form. Be sure to click the âdownloadâ link here:

http://www.bentham.org/open/tocpj/articles/V002/7TOCPJ.htm?TOCPJ/2009/00000002/00000001/7TOCPJ.SGM

If you get into the actual paper, you learn that the explosives may actually have been sprayed into position like paint or insulation!

Steve Jonesâ findings may not fit the stories that you have heard in the news but it does lend support to what Johannemann, Jennings and Rodriguez testified that they saw. You say, âThe news media isnât going to shoot itself in the foot by making something up.â So how do we rectify all the contradictions that we were told in the news? Could Steve Jones and these witnesses be glory-seeking kooks trying to make a name for themselves?

Then take a look at this:

Here is a BBC report announcing the collapse of the Solomon Building (the official name for Building Seven). There is only one problem. The reporter standing at the scene and announcing this didn't realize that, in fact, you could still see Building Seven still standing off to the right. It actually collapsed within about 20 minutes after that live report. Watch it here:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JlL6ewlW6oc
(YouTube Key Words: BBC Solomon slips â you get more hits by excluding âslipsâ)

How did the BBC know in advance that Building Seven would collapse? The fact that it was announced in advance is strong support that the flow of information on this tragedy was being controlled.

Were the people at the BBC the only people privy to this information? Probably not. Larry Silverstein was the leaseholder of Building Seven. In a 2002 PBS documentary he talked about how he discussed the Building Seven situation with the fire department and how the decision was made by that department to "pull" it. Well, there is one problem with his testimony that you may want to consider. It takes about a week to rig a building with explosives before you pull it. So are buildings constructed with built-in explosives just in case they need to be blown up in a hurry? Building Seven went down that same day. Whoops! Watch Larry's testimony from the PBS documentary here in this short clip:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=C3E-26oVIIs
(YouTube Key words: PBS Silverstein)

Incidentally, luckily for Larry, he insured his property in the nick of time just six months before September 11th! It was a sweet deal. So who orchestrated this terrorist event anyway? They had to get past the FBI and CIA and prepare at least three buildings for demolition as well as direct the activities of men with box cutters (if they even existed). Itâs clear from the evidence presented here so far that at least some of the media was in on this. What else could explain the BBC blunder? They had to control the information to those of us who might not like the idea that a few thousand people had to be killed in order to fulfill some kind of agenda. Whatâs in it for these people that were âin the know?â

Aaron Russo was a famous movie producer who became best friends with one of the Rockefeller family members (Remember âThe Roseâ and "Trading Places" starring Eddie Murphy?). This is the same Rockefeller family that is a large shareholder of the Federal Reserve Bank -- a private company that loans money to our government and contributes to our huge national debt. You see the name âFederal Reserveâ at the top the dollar bill. Yes, we're talking about THAT Bank! Anyway, the upshot of this friendship was that in the year 2000 (11 months before 9/11) Aaron Russo learned from his Rockefeller buddy that there was going to be an "event". He was told that out of this event the U.S. would go into Afghanistan and look for Bin Laden in Caves and then the U.S. would go into Iraq. His fascinating testimony about this "event" starts at 26:45 here in this interview:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YGAaPjqdbgQ
(Google Video Key Words: Aaron Russo Warnings)

One more thing. In February 2009 a 44 story Chinese skyscraper caught fire and thoroughly burned into a crinkling cinder. However IT DID NOT COLLAPSE. By comparison WTC Building Seven had a few small fires and was never hit by a plane. It DID COLLAPSE. See that article here:

http://www.infowars.com/fire-consumes-wtc-7-size-skyscraper-building-does-not-collapse
(Google Key Words: China 44 fire consumes)

Amazingly, all this evidence is only the tip of the iceberg. Each of these are separate independent pieces of evidence from unconnected sources. When taken together they paint a clear picture. You are a juror in a court of law. What would be your verdict? Remember, the word âconspiracyâ is not in the dictionary to describe a fiction.

Political Joke: What's the biggest difference between 9/11 and the Oklahoma City Bombing?

Wise Guy

Foreigners once again prove they can do it better and more efficiently.

Answer
Incorrect. The OK bombing wasn't as effective in jump starting the dictatorship we are heading into. I could not find the movie "A Noble Lie" that delves into the OKC Bombing but here's the trailer:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mZt4SACTIq8

Now on to 9/11. Let's go through that. Please watch this first video linked here.

Those explosions were from charges that were set up to weaken the structure preparatory to pulling the tower. You didnât see this on TV. Does that prick your interest?

Now look at this. Barry Jennings was another witness that got stuck in Building Seven during 9/11. Building Seven fell later that same day but was NEVER hit by a jet. Watch his account here:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PbbZE7c3a8Q

Again, the explosions he talked about were from charges that were set up to weaken the structure preparatory to pulling down this building. Again, you didn't see Barryâs testimony on TV.

Hereâs some different evidence. Steve Jones, a nuclear physicist, obtained WTC dust samples from the collapsed WTC towers and analyzed it. He reported his detailed findings here in Boston:

http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=1957490867030316250&ei=JspdSaLNBZa4qAObztThDw&q=steve+jones+boston

Those âred chipsâ he talked about werenât the smoking gun they were THE GUN. See the article here:

http://rawstory.com/news/2008/Scientists_find_active_superthermite_in_WTC_0404.html

Click here for his actual peer-reviewed paper::

http://www.bentham.org/open/tocpj/articles/V002/7TOCPJ.htm?TOCPJ/2009/00000002/00000001/7TOCPJ.SGM

Now get a load of this:

The BBC reported the collapse of the Solomon Building (Building Seven) 20 minutes BEFORE it actually collapsed. Watch that here:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JlL6ewlW6oc

I remember that 5 or 10 years ago there was a very popular news about a scientific study that said that coke (coca-cola) killed human neurons. Te problem is that I can't find it. The question is: Do you remember this news and can you help me to find it?

Answer
Yes I remember this news. It contained aspartame, a chemical that affected the brain. Aspartame, though native to the brain, if there is too much. Here are three sites which have articles about it:

Answer
It is the aspartame (sugar substitute) and not the coka cola. You would have to drink a huge amount!

Q. why do they try to convince the world
that the United States will convert become a moslem country awakened in the 10 years ahead?

Answer
Actually, they are commanded by the Prophet Muhammad (622) to also evangelize just as Christians are by Christ. Their strategy differs greatly because they have historically converted on a more or less "or else" basis: Convert or suffer immediate consequences up to an including discrimination and/or persecution, oppression, imprisonment and death.

Why try to convince the world that the US will convert and become Islamic? Well, I'm not sure that the "world" especially Western developed countries will buy that; however, there are many countries--those undeveloped and underdeveloped countries, who do not have the benefit of the news media to tell show them what the truth is. However, they are aware that the US is a world leader, that there are opportunities for a future in the US that they might never otherwise have. If they believe that the US will be a Muslim country, that would mean easier immigration... I do not believe it is above the "ethics" of fundamentalist Islamics to fabricate such a lure if it means a "people movement."

***A people movement occurs when an entire group of people--ranging from a family up to an entire village and in some cases an entire country--convert. It is sparked by family leaders--community leaders (village leaders)--or leader(s) of a country accepting a faith and others following.***

That strategy has been used by Muslims on the African continent since the Islamic Arabs invaded Morocco (N. Africa) around 680 AD. In addition to "forced conversion," Muslims married into tribes of the indigenous peoples to form allegiances after which conversion came easier. Since becoming Muslim, the Fulani, an aggressive tribe, have been successful with conversions by way of jihad/invasion/marriage. They began moving south from West Africa to sub-Saharan areas of Africa.

Since the salvation of Muslims depends on their good works/deeds during their lifetime, they are very active evangelists of Islam but however I cannot attest to the accuracy and effectiveness of the teachings of those who spread that faith. Many of those who have been oppressed into Islam later convert to Christianity.

In Christian evangelism people movements also happens and it happens more often than people in Western cultures might imagine because in many cultures--especially tribal groups--family or community heads make the decision for the entire group.

Islam is increasing even here in the US but we are still a predominantly Christian nation. I believe it will hold at least another 10 years--unless Christians here continue to ignore God's call t service and people eventually become lukewarm. This is what has happened in Europe and now the cannot figure out why there are more Muslims than Christians.

How skinny is 'skinny'?

Sophie Pal

I was just wondering, are the following celebrities considered average, thin, skinny or very skinny, and why?

Have you ever cross dressed for a costume party or any other reason?

I am going to a costume party soon and thought it might be a good laugh to dress up in drag and pretend to be a woman. Have you ever dressed as the opposite gender for a costume, what did you dress as and how good did you look? And do you have any suggestions?

Answer
Both my bf and I have cross dressed for Halloween. He wasn't exactly like a full on drag queen, he was a "Hogette", it's a group of guys that dress up kind of like women but put on a hog nose. Washington Redskins fans are the ones that do this.

A few years later I dressed up like a scary looking hobo. I got some of my bf's old jeans and old t-shirt with a camo jacket, got them really dirty. I tore the toes to an old pair of loafers I had and put on this scary looking old man mask and a beanie. And I carried an empty bottle of Busch in a paper sack. It was hilarious, one of the best costumes of the night.

Think about a woman that has been in the news like Lindsey Lohan in jail, or Angelina Jolie with a ton of kids attached to you, or Kim Kardashian with the huge butt, you can let people put drinks on it. Make it funny like that, because a full on drag like RuPaul might come across weird. I hope this helps. Have fun!

Do you think the world was a better place when the news had to be delivered on horseback?

Tina

Don't you feel like they had more time for accuracy back then?

Answer
Not so much as a matter of accuracy......it was a matter of sending only the news that was actually worth a damn to anyone. Back when men were men, and delivered news WORTH risking their lives to deliver.

Tell me.........how much do you know about Kim Kardashian or Lindsay Lohan?

How did we go from that...............to breathless reporting about Lindsay Lohan's latest lesbian spat and drug bust? Who the hell NEEDS any of that info? Yet we are BOMBARDED by it.

Who CARES how Micheal Jackson died.......he was abusing drugs.........end of story.

Bring back the Pony Express and just get on with your lives!
