As a celebrities, they get many bad gossip, what do you feel if it's you (as none celebrity)?

Doo.ri

Recent example:
Because Richard Gere kissed an India actress, demonstrators shouting, "Don't touch our womens!" while burning the kissing pictures.

And do you feel sometimes celebrities have more horrible life than us none celebrities?

Another examples: Politician get many critics and protest from civilian, look US President. They draw funny caricature of politician, etc.

What if it's you? Would you be annoyed by time to time, felt adrenalin, would you have uncomfortable life?

10 pts. for good or detailed answer.

Answer
I think that when people become celebritites they've made a choice. Even if you want to be an actor, you can be an actor without becoming a celebrity - like acting in theatre or independent cinema. And when actors become celebrities they KNOW that they're going to be in the media and limelight. If they didn't want the attention, they shouldn't have become famous.
However, I do feel sorry for them SOMETIMES. Especially people who didn't choose to be famous, like Cher's daughter or Prince William. It was just a random lottery for them.

I think celebrities get paid huge amounts of money, receive lavish gifts and accommodation etc, free clothes & jewelry so the price they pay for that lifestyle is that they have no privacy.

I feel that my life is better than a celebrity because I can do what I want and I know that all of my friends love me for who I am, and they don't just want to be around a celebrity. I think it would be difficult to tell whether people loved your fame & money. I think that's why so many celebrities date/fall in love with other celebrities, at least they know that person doesn't just love their fame.

There are a lot of people leading better lives than celebrities, and a lot of people leading worse lives than celebrities. The important thing to remember is that their life is THEIR CHOICE. They've spent years trying to become famous and now they've got what they wanted. And the media scrutiny too.

guys, do you find her attractive?

Answer
I think each country has attractive female celebrities, e.g. Kumiko Takeda of Japan, Wang Tsu-Hsien of Republic of China, Aishwarya Rai of India, Olga Kurylenko of the Soviet Republics, Kate Beckinsale of England, Kristen Kreuk of Canada, Monica Bellucci of Italy, Kelly Hu of Hawaii, Felicia Lee of Singapore, etc. I can only judge mainly by their looks, for I haven't met most of them, and I don't read celebrity gossip rags. Kumiko Takeda is the most beautiful lady I've seen in person, and she's nice to everyone around the world I hear. Some celebrities and vain and egotistical, but she isn't. She was born in Fukuoka, Japan and moved to California where I met her. Wang Tsu-Hsien has visited California, and she was a spoiled brat to everyone. Some of my Chinese friends dealt with her, and they now depise her.

Why do so many People ( men/Women ) like younger Sex Partners???

italianfuk

If you look into Human Prehistoric Archeology/Anthropology studies; it clearly shows how women were married as early as 14 yrs old. however there many factors at stake as well. In India/ Asia many were( continue ) arranged marriages. is this some kind of form of Pre-Pedophila marriage(s)? or just another story in human history? according to Med Reasearch a girl becomes a woman at the stage of Menses begins, she's able to concive a child. In fact many clinics/Hospitals ( WorldWide ) are pushing for Humanity to Bear children at younger ages ( ex. 21-35 yrs old ). Even though a 21 year old is consider legally an adult; does this put idealistic views on Early Procreation in young people. Many youth today are still confused as to when to concive a child. Many are still marrying at an early age. Then let's look at the Media, Society as a whole. Are We Humanity trying 2 justifiy are Prehistoric Ancestors animalistic sexual appetites?? or it's ok when young female celebritys gossip about sex??

Answer
It's all about survival of the fittest and an unbroken line of DNA making it to the future.

The more youthful females display more of the attributes our lizard-brains are programed to seek: firm bodies, taut breasts, shapely buttocks and full, red lips. All signals of sexual vigor and physical health.

Men have a tendency to keep many of their "signals" in tact far longer: upper-body development, firm midsection, confident baring, etc. Also men have the additional advantage of sending out signals beyond the physical that the female of the species also respond to: tribal status (money/popularity); quick situational response and superior tactical skills (smart/funny); wisdom and leadership (age/emotional maturity).

Also men can (are are supposed to) procreate for nearly all of their lives. A reasonably healthy 80 year-old man can (and sometimes, according to the news, sometimes does) impregnate a teen-age girl and wider society's primary response is "Go get 'em, you old fox!" While an older woman, subject to the same primal "turn-ons" men are, would be considered a dirty old witch who's probably "paying for it".

And BTW, we have the same "animistic appetites" we did in the Stone Age, only our facades have evolved to keep pace with artificial (i.e.man-made) societal mores and the laws we pass to enforce them.

God, on the other hand, makes beautiful young women.

Is media in india creating havoc between common man and celebrities?

saurabh s

Answer
this question has two sides to it...the media and celebrities are intimately related .anything done by the celebs becomes a major news and they also pull these antics to make news and to remain visible in the eye of the people and media ...both the sectors complement each other..both thrive on gossip and news...
whether its creating a havoc between the common man and celebs is again dependent on what the common man chooses to think ,watch and accept...if he chooses only to watch and accept the superficial news then that leaves him quite susceptible to the manipulations of the media and the celebs...then he does not think on his own and chooses to accept someone Else's ideas..but if he delves into the matter and makes and informed decision or opinion then that certainly is a smarter choice..though it is true that the media can make or break someones image but it is also true that the final decision is in the hands of the common man...
also putting the Indian media under the scrutiny is not correct because the media in all the countries has the same job to do and according to me ,the Indian media is just in the initial stages of realizing its potential and thus is making some very bad decisions when it comes to reporting and story choosing...one can only hope that they will mature with experience

Why is our society so obsessive about celebrites?

Q. I mean why exactly do we have all those gossip magazines and tv shows that just talk about the personal lives of other people? what's the point? Do average Americans really care more about Britney and Miley more than they do about actual news? I just don't get why so many people take pleasure in ridiculing other people's problems!

Answer
People are attracted to celebrity news because it's an "escape" from actual news, but sometimes it's an escape that seems to becoming something of an addition, and it's a growing concern according to some experts in the audience studies, communications, law enforcement/security and psychology fields. A few years back several academics in the US and the UK did studies on what they called "Celebrity Worship Syndrome...results were pretty mixed...with much of it shifting to the negative.

Yes, you can hear about obsession in its extreme such as John David Chapman killing John Lennon, or people attempting to assasinate presidents to impress other celebrities, but yet celebrity obsession is not just an "American" thing as some would believe, either. It's very much an international issue...celebrity obsession and stalking has become a problem in Britain and other parts of Europe. Australian TV plans to run a series on the issue of fame, stalking and obsession next month...so it's also an issue there, too.

Asia has its own unique problems with celebrity obsession that you don't see or hear much about in the rest of the world. Sometimes, the celebrity obsession thing over there can get very intense and ugly, too. In Japan, there's actually a derogatory word for such an obsession: Okatu. It's usually geared towards Anime fans, but can also refer to celebrity obsessed folks as well

A few true stories reported in the Asian media but didn't quite make to the mainstream US or European media:

In S. Korea, a pop star called U-Know was nearly poisoned by an anti-fan. She put super glue into a drink she gave him! The likelihood of stars meeting anti-fans there are just as strong as meeting regular fans.

In India, fans were very upset because Shilpa Shettyone of their top Bollywood stars and Richard Gere kissed! An action that no one in the US or Europe would even give a second though. Yet, the upset re: this specific breach of Indian culture and tradition escalated to the point of protests and effigy burning in some communities there. There were even calls for Gere's arrest!

In China last year, there was a gal, Yang Lijuan, who was so obsessed by an actor named Andy Lau that her family actually SOLD their house to go to hong kong for a meet and greet. This woman had been obsessed by Lau since age 16, and had actually dropped out of school to make the full time observation of him her career! The 29 year old woman complained to her father about how unhappy she was about getting to have only a few minutes with the star. The father wrote Lau a 12 page letter saying that it was the celebrity's fault that his family was now homeless and in ruins...and then the dad jumped off a bridge and killed himself! The gal tried to say it was the star's fault her dad was dead...and was STILL demanding to spend time with him. Crazy, no? This story was the talk of China and other parts of Asia for quite a while.

Sad thing here is that such nutjobs around the world give regular fans of celebrities a bad name. People figure if one is psycho and obsessed then they ALL must be psycho and obsessed...and that's just simply not fair.

Is there an "ICON" personality in USA of our days whoes moral authority is generally accepted?

Marcus

there was Martin Luther King for blacks in the past, there was Ghandi in India, Pope John Paul the Second for Catholics, there is Nelson Mandela in South Africa , Brits worship their Queen, .....what about USA in this respect today?

Answer
Not really, US society is rather immoral and materialistic, looking up only to shallow celebrities and the gossip magazines that tear them down.
