Why are the Jets worried about the Patriots instead of taking responsibility for the trip incident Sunday? ->?

Here is the latest Jet mess up->

FLORHAM PARK, N.J. -- Tripgate isn't over for the New York Jets, who could be subject to sanctions by the NFL for using inactive players in an illegal wall and publicly accusing the New England Patriots of the same tactic.

All of these matters are under review," league spokesman Greg Aiello said Thursday night in an e-mail to ESPNNewYork.com, responding to specific questions about the team's use of the wall and the Patriots-related remarks by special-teams coordinator Mike Westhoff

The controversy stems from Sal Alosi, the Jets' strength and conditioning coach, tripping Miami Dolphins player Nolan Carroll in Sunday's game at the New Meadowlands Stadium.

The Jets suspended Alosi for the remainder of the season without pay, but they increased the penalty to an indefinite suspension after determining Alosi instructed five inactive players to stand shoulder-to-shoulder along the sideline. The wall formation was designed to act as a deterrent to Carroll, the Dolphins' gunner on punt coverage.

The NFL sent a letter to the 32 teams Thursday reminding them of the rules and restrictions for the bench area and sidelines.

Ray Anderson, the league's executive vice president for football operations, emphasized the responsibilities placed on each team to appoint a "get-back coach" to ensure that players, coaches and other staff are in compliance with league rules.

Both head coach Rex Ryan and Westhoff said they had no knowledge of the wall until they reviewed the tape, claiming Alosi acted alone. But Westhoff may have inflamed the matter Wednesday, telling Chicago sports radio station ESPN 1000's "Waddle and Silvy Show" that the Patriots also have used it.

The league is checking into whether Westhoff violated a league rule by publicly calling out the Patriots. A 2008 league memo from commissioner Roger Goodell, printed in the San Francisco Chronicle and brought to light Thursday by ESPNBoston.com, warned every team that making false claims against other clubs could result in penalties

Answer
The Jets organization has a history of "crying to momma" when things don't go their way regarding the Patriots.

1. They negotiated with Parcells before the Patriot/Packer Super Bowl. Then when Belichick snubbed them to take the Patriots job, they cried and whined.

2. They negotiated with Curtis Martin when he was still under contract w/ the Patriots. Then whined when the Patriots picked up a scrub off the waiver wire the week of a matchup.

3. They were caught using videotape and then cried bloody murder to the NFL when the Patriots did the same which led to "Spygate".

4. They organized a "code red" on the Dolphins gunner, then whined "but, but, but the Patriots do it too" hoping to deflect blame like a little brother who rats out an older brother to mom.

The Trip is just another example, in a long list, of that despicable minor league franchise having a case of envy against the Patriots.

"Now, Let's go get a GD Snack!" lololololololol

Do you really believe that the Eagles laid the "blueprints" to beat the Patriots?

Go Wit Da

As a New England fan I was going APESH1T that entire game, but it had to happen once right? I mean... the Eagles aren't a horrible team and any NFL team with any self respect would of came at the Patriots with everything they had including the kitchen sink after being labeled the biggest underdog in NFL history. Thing is... the Eagles did New England a favor because now we can know what to expect from a team and Belichick lives by that whole "Fool me once, you won't do it twice." mentality... I mean the Pats lost to the two win Dolphins a few years back when they had one loss at the end of the season en route to a superbowl and playoffs where they DESTROYED teams. Funny actually... you know who the QB was in that Dolphins game... AJ Feely. And this Eagles team is ALOT better then that Dolphins team was and we still came out with the win this time which I think speaks volumes for us.

Did the Dolphins and Jets create a blue print for beating the steelers?
Did the Chargers create a blue print for beating the Colts?

Seriously, the "blue print' thing, well here is what the eagles showed:
If you can handle the Patriots' blitzes you can beat the Patriots' one on one coverages - This isn't a news flash, this is true about any team that blitzes alot.

If you can get to brady and keep moss contained - you can keep the patriots from putting up 50 points but they still will likely get 20-30 points. Okay not the shock of the century.

If a questionable Offensive PI call negates a TD and Gostowski misses a field goal the patriots will waste a drive where they could have easily pulled the game by 10 - This isn't hard to figure out just hard to game plan this.

You look at what the Eagles did on defense, and you can look at some teams might be able to borrow some lets go down the list of some of new england's opponents.

Baltimore - Possible, but not likely. Baltimore does have some good players in the secondary, so they can put on some blitzes, however outside of raw lewis they dont really have the blitzers to get a lot of pressure. They're just too old.

Pittsburg - Doesn't have the Corners that can go with Moss. THey dont play the same defense either. They have a good safety for run support, but not that great for coverage.

Jets - Dolphins - LOL. They dont have a prayer.

Giants - Giants are good at getting pressure, they lead the league in sacks. Their secondary is suspect though. Look at what Dallas did to them.

Playoff teams -
Indy - Indy did a pretty good job against new england in the first couple quarters of the game they played. The problem indy faces defensively is that they are so small that new england can wear them down and start hammering them in the later parts of a game.

JVille - Their defense can keep New England from scoring 50 points, I think JVille defensively is very good. Its offense that JVille lacks.

Cleveland - No Defense here.

San Diego - The patriots dont need a defense as long as Joan Rivers is the SD QB. He'll throw a few td's to new england anyways.

Superbowl
Dallas - Dallas' secondary couldn't cover a grain of sand with a bed spread.
Green Bay - Patriots can handle the Green Bay defense, but I think that defense will keep it under a hundred.
