Okay, so I am in a yearbook class and for the page I was assigned I need a top 10 list of something revolving around celebrities.
It can be most googled celebs. Top earning. Or it can be the most iconic celebrities of all time.
Every time I look on the internet for this I get results from 2005.
Can someone please help me, and send the link you got the information from.

Why are people so into Celebrities?
Q. Why is it that people are so into celebrities? I know people who love them 'til death, but whats in it to go "ooh" and "ahh" over celebrities. They're just people like you and I, and yet, we treat them as if they were God. I know people who watch shows related to Celebrity gossip 24/7. I'm starting to wonder why people are so into them. They are just people who act, sing, and do other stuff that seem to make us all happy. Like last week, there was a Yahoo! Answers user who kept asking questions about Joe Jonas and saying "Ohh he's hot" or "OH MY GOD, I'M GONNA MARRY HIM". GET A LIFE! Joe Jonas isnt marrying that person. He's probably going to marry a celebrity. He's jsut a person, like all he does is sing, and yet people are all over him. I undertsnad that most singers are very good, but thats nothing to treat them like god... My point is, why are people so hyped up about celebrities?
Even if it's for there money, whats the point? All you need in life is a house, a car, and a family, what else is there? You don't need a million dollar mansion, you don't need a ferrari, you don't need a CELEBRITY for your spouse...
I admit I do like some celebrities, but it's not like I go "goo" and "gaa" over them =p...

dude i freaking love u! finally somebody tells it like it is! celebrities are totally worthless and have no purpose in every day life. I could careless what they do. Idolizing some stupid famous person is a total waste of time. their no better than anyone else. the only person i admire was princess di and that was because she was a wonderful person and example of a woman. All these lame @$$ actors and musicians can rot for all i care. peace, a
