By calling off the touchdown, the Las Vegas casinos won their bets against people who put money on the steelers by a 4pt spread. There were many more bets on the steelers than on the chargers. By making a completely wrong call in reversing the touchdown, the las vegas casinos made millions and they were also able to make headlines with "the first ever 11-10 game". Do you think the call reversal was a sham?
Answer
No, it was a desicion by the refs. If the news had been broken say, 3 hours later, there's rooom to suspect, but there is no way that all the casinos would be able to contact the NFL, make a deal, and then the NFL contact the refs in that 30 span.

How do I fight back against police brutality? How do I get my life back?
Scared
I am rephrasing my initial question. I am currently in hiding from my abuser; a sociopath that took out his life's problems on me by beating, raping, robbing, holding me prisoner, and threatening mine and my family's lives if i ever told on him. During the 4 years those incidents were taking place he was also hurting me behind my back by calling the police and sending them to my home when I was not there. I had no idea it was going on until it was too late. The few times I was at home they were horrible to me and scared me to death. It always took quite some time to make them understand that there was no "issue" at my home and to please leave. Once he prank called the police at midnight, they evacuated the entire apartment building in anticipation of some sort of suicide/mass murder, they burst in with their guns pointed at me, handcuffed me, then took me to their car and questioned me. Luckily it was over pretty quickly since they could clearly see that they woke me up and there was nothing wrong. I also had 28 missed calls from him on my phone (my phone was silenced). So not only has my abuser ruined my life but the POLICE have also. I can't sleep at night, I am always sick, I am afraid to work or live a normal life for fear of being hurt by either the police or my abuser if I go out. I have been living off of my life savings which is now greatly depleted. The way the police handled things was wrong. They have turned me into a scared recluse. I had so much confidence, ambition, love, and hope in my heart when I moved to Las Vegas. Those things are gone now. I am seeing and hearing in the news and on the internet about more and more people speaking out and fighting against police brutality and I feel I fit in that category. I just don't know where to start and if I should even try. I want to know what others think and if anyone knows of any resources? Thank you so much for taking the time to read this.
Thank you for your responses. I have evidence that the police were called a total of 17 times, and when they got to my home there was nothing wrong. I also have a voice message my abuser left for me stating that he was calling the police on me for no reason. As one of you said, he did it to cause drama and problems in my life. He is abusive. The thing that baffles me is the fact that the police kept responding to his prank calls. I believe that was wrong and that I can take action against them. I'm not sure why some of you think this is funny or a lie, as the police are certainly able to make mistakes, do wrong unto others, and flat out abuse and harass people. Just because they can. I have spoken to a lady at a METRO VICTIMS office and she told me that it is going to stop. METRO VICTIMS would not exist is the police were saints.
Kenneth I stated that my abuser called the police MANY times. It's just that one incident that sticks out because it was so insane. I have evidence of all the police calls as well as him teasing me about calling the police. I filed police reports regarding his abuse, I have had a total of two protection orders against him (which he violated numerous times but never physically got caught), took him to court for assault and battery which he plead guilty to, and I am now in a state protection program so he cannot find me. I asked this question for further help against the things that were done to me. I never meant to offend you Kenneth or anyone else. I'm sorry if I have. It's responses like this that make me afraid to take action at all and just continue to live as a recluse scared of the world. They have taken my life from me and all I want is to get it back. Honestly am I wrong for standing up for myself?
Answer
You are probably referring to severe police misconduct not brutality. If this man is harassing you, and police aren't doing anything about it. You should just leave the area and make a police report about him. You'd think by now the cops would have clued into the fact, he is making false reports. I can see a complaint being made if he already made false reports, and police find nothing wrong every time, then they just go ahead and barge into your apartment with guns. I can see you taking legal action against them for that reason. They should have figured out this guy makes false reports about you and they should just ignore him. File a lawsuit if you want. The cops should have arrested him by now if he is making false reports. Report him to the police and see if they can investigate him, more than likely there is some law about making fake reports. If he is a cop himself, you have a bigger problem. Speak with a lawyer about it, and see what you can do. If police are going into your home while you are not there, you should have some pretty solid evidence of it. Nobody will buy into that unless you can prove what you are saying. But other than that what you are saying is possibly true. It's not impossible for that to occur just make sure you have evidence that police are continuously taking this guy serious after it's very evident he's being dishonest. This type of thing happens a lot with people that have psychiatric issues, no offense. A person will call the cops on them just to create drama, and the police could careless about it.
