latest news regarding north korea image
Fernando
Is it real, What do you think of it? I personally am tired of watching the news trying to see what interesting things might be happening regarding North and South Korea, or Germany and the European Union, or Great Britain or the latest on Julian Assange but they're cluttering the news with Natalie Holloway and Elisabeth Smart,
Answer
I agree, it is annoying. You will think no women from all the other races are ever missing or murdered. Just yesterday, I was thinking that as I watch the ID cable channel.

Would Chinese be positive if political relation between China and S.Korea become closer?
Yun
hmm, I knew China and Korea were in the opposite side during Korean war...but time has passed and i saw a documentary both the chinese and korean veterans willing for peace these days..
China and Korea were in good relationship in the history during Song,Ming dynasty,,,
however i'm a little bit sad that both countries' relationship became alienated than the relation of old history..
I personally think it would be great if China and Korea restrorate their old relationship ã_ã;;
I heard some Chinese become negative of koreans recently because of some arrogant, ignorant people..
I just wanted to say that minority doesn't represent the whole people,,,,,
I heard koreans are the most people as international student in China
and Chinese students are the biggest number of international students in korean universities...
I also saw a latest news that Korea is the second preference to Chinese students to study abroad (after america)...It actually shocked very many koreans about that news
also many chinese singers are working in Korea and gaining their popularity in korean tv shows
and actor like Tang-Wei,Zang-Tsu-I, and Kong-Li are very famous in Korea...?(especially Tang-Wei)
ah...plus I also heard Chinese prefer Korea as their tourist destination...like Jeju island...
The majority of tourists in Korea are Chinese as I heard...
I just was curious whether chinese people still regard korea as their opposite side?
As you can see many chinese and korean are starting to take interest in the each other..?
Actually I can't find any reason why China and Korea can't be friends each other??
I just wonder how Chinese would think about the relation between China and Korea....
I think there is a need between two countries to become politically stronger besides cultural stuff...
(The issue of North Korea would be dealt much easily also if both countries share the ties)
How Chinese think about future relationship between China and Korea??Are they positive to it??or not?
I was just curious..ã_ã
I personally think it would be great for many reasons if China and Korea restorate their old relationship..ha..ha...
I just ask this question beacuse of my curiosity...
So any kind of answer would be appreciated~
Thanks

Personally, I think China fears a closer political relation with South Korea, wikileaks has told us that China doesn't mind Korea being united under a South Korean flag, what worries Beijing more is that the USA could still have bases in China that could be right next to the new Chinese-untied Korean boarder.
Another thing is that with this new Korea, where is then a problem with the ethnic groups near the boarder. Their are a 2 million Korean ethnic groups who some are most likely to form independence movements as parts of "Manchuria" were part of historical Korea, in the Goguryeo Kingdom and before the four commanderies of Han. This would add further ethnic tensions and sovereignty issues in China and maybe even spilt the friendship of the normal Chinese Korean relationship more.
By becoming political closer with Seoul they would also have to agree with it, a united Korea, else there friendship would not mean anything and I don't see this, i.e the above, being something China wants to deal with at the time.
