Just buy a few local gossip magazines and tabloids and I expect you'll find a number of clubs and parties where you can stalk any celebrity you want and do the creep.

i find writing stories quite easy. my advice would be to base it on something you really enjoy yourself.. such as : fashion, sport, television.
then narrow that down a little to maybe: fashion designer, basketball, celebrity gossip.
add in some fantasy characters or base them on people you know, and hay presto, you have half a plot for a storyline.
i did one once that was about a woman (who was just like me) who was a fashion designer in london trying to cope with the upcoming fashion week, and crazy funny stuff happend.
you can have so much fun, just try it that way.
