For history class I have to make up interview questions and ask my mom the questions.
I only have 6 so far, can you help me get 10 of them?
Here's my 7:
What were you doing at the time of the attack?
What was your reaction when you heard the horrific news?
How were other people reacting?
How long after the attack happened was it a popular subject (talked about a lot)?
Has it affected your life in any way? If so, how?
What were your thoughts back then about the terrorists and now?
Thanks everyone!
Answer
You need 4? OK I'll give it a shot.
1) If you could go back to September 10, 2001, what would you tell the world?
2) Do you think 9/11 will ever fade into history like 12/7/1941 has?
3) Do you know anyone that in New York City on 9/11/2001?
4) What do you think we can do to prevent something like this from ever happening again?

What do you need to interview a band?
Someone
If I wanted to get into interviewing bands and music news, what do I need? (I don't mean blogs or magazines, I'm informed on that) Are interviews restricted to journalists/writers? I just want to do it for fun and for others since band interviews tend to be the same "how did you get started", "what is your favorite song" type of questions. I want to do more interesting (although have the important stuff as well) interviews, stuff the fans would like. Local bands are what I'm interested in and maybe some more popular ones, if that's even possible some time down the road.
I really have no clue where to start :\ I have a decent camera, just not a microphone (I still have to decide if this is something worth getting into)
Thanks!
Answer
Be as professional as you can about it. Start a website or something. Make a platform where you can post these interviews so bands know you aren't just wasting their time. To interview bands that are more popular you definitely need some credit. Try local bands first. Go to their website and contact them directly and politely. You could do written interviews and just type them out or you could film them (if you have a nice camera it should have a microphone with it?) Figure out where you will meet these people. Make sure you treat them well, maybe have food/drinks for them. Just be professional and sincere! Start from the bottom and work your way to the top. Good luck!
