Is there a conspiracy to down play Ron Paul's popularity?

jerome2all

He was 2nd in the Iowa Strong Poll, missed 1st by 200 points.
*should be 'votes' not 'points'.

Answer
Yes.

Case in point (this is the FIRST ARTICLE I FOUND and surprise surprise! It's a perfect example:)

Headline:
"Republicans Perry, Bachmann share stage in Iowa"

Search the body text. Paul's name is not mentioned once.

Paul came in 2nd place with 27.7% (a mere 9/10ths of a percentage point behind Bachmann), and Perry came in 6th with 4.3%

So you tell me? How much more obvious could it get?

....

"He's really not as popular as some of his supporters would like you to believe." Funny, that's not what the DATA says.

Perhaps it is Perry and Romney who are not nearly as popular as the corporate mass media would like you to believe?

Is bruno mars really gay?

everyone on facebook and twitter is saying he came out? also i dont like his music i was just wondering

Answer
Yes, here's an article about it.

âThey have closets on Mars?â
Popular musician and artist Bruno Mars has made headlines today after an April Foolâs day prank gone right.
Insiders say Mars, (real name Peter Gene Hernandez) âcame outâ on a small Chicago radio station, utilizing the day of fools to âtest the watersâ and gauge the reaction of smaller factions of his broad fanbase.
Mars stated he âwill not go to great lengths to spread this newsâ, but adding that he has real âfear of it being disregarded as a joke. My sexuality is no joke.â
Unfortunately, news spread predominantly by word of mouth, quickly being leaked on the Internet. Hundreds of supporting fans have flocked to sites such as Twitter, YouTube, and Facebook to show their approval, with Facebook group âBrunoBeProudâ launched with approximately three hundred âlikesâ, in just a few hours.
Mars has now officialised the claim, stating, âItâs come out a little faster than Iâd hoped, due to circumstancesâ.
With his first album, Doo-Wops and Hooligans, breaking in at the top of the Billboard Top 100 in 2010, there is no wonder news of his coming out has already had mention on CNN and other major broadcasting companies.
Bruno Mars has recently had considerable success, with six nominations at the 2012 Grammys, including nominations for Record of the Year, and Song of the Year. However, his record company Atlantic Records has yet to comment on the breaking news."
