Hey people I have to do a 3 to 5 page essay on something or someone about the 1930s and I cant think of anything good enough. I have like a day or 2 to do it. So does anyone know of somthing from the 1930s that would be quick yet fun to learns about?
I would prefer to do something about someone to talk about how good they are but if theirs something else like and invention or something interesting.
Any ideas?
Thanks.
Try to tell me what the people did.
So I can have a better idea.
It has to be mostly in the 1930s.

Before you answer this question think seriously for just one moment. What makes their every move the publics business just because they were in a movie? Since, when did it become "normal" and acceptable for people to be trapped in a box for us to scrutinize their every move, thought, or preference just because they used a talent to entertain us? Why can't people just see them as humans who think and feel just like the rest of us? Yes, they chose to be in movies, but it was because they have a passion for acting, not so they can't enjoy an afternoon at a park without some crazed fan or photographer mobbing them. Imagine if it were you, how would you feel if everything you've done was laid out for the world to see, or if every person you thought was your friend would throw you under the bus for money. Once you've imagined all that then tell me what gives us the right. I personally don't undestand how anyone feels entitled just because they make money acting. It's not like it's reality TV. Other than we have become the most greedy, self-entitled society. Instead of spending thousands of dollars reading what a celebrity has done lately, or might be doing go spend one day reading to terminally ill children then you will truly get to meet someone that is a true insperation and worthy of being someone you would give anything to meet. The whole "their celebrities they should just expect it" speech makes about as much sense as, "it's a bank it's ok to rob it because it's a bank they should just expect it"
Answer
It's not really acceptable in real life because nowadays we focus on "being you" and "no bullying". I've never been in to celebrities so i wouldn't know first hand but i suspect it's like high school students gossiping in the hall ways. It's exciting it's glamorous and everybody cares about what you have to say.
Even if they took the job for acting reasons they should expect fans and media because even before twilight was a film people went crazy for it (Not JUST because they are celebrities) it's common sense.
Twilight is a film to appeal to the masses and not one of those amazingly brilliant films that usually fly under the radar. It's not the best film to show off your acting skills in.
As soon as the filming ends or the next big thing comes along people will forget about them for the most part. They might still have many fans but the media will stop following them.
If you have friends who will throw you under a bus for money i think it's best they learn it sooner than later, especially before a bad rumor comes out.
I have no clue what you were trying to say third line up about terminally ill children. If it was something about paying more attention to them than celebrities than I agree.
No it's not the same as robbing a bank.
EVERY celebrity in the spotlight gets chased after by the media. Not every bank gets robbed. Celebrities that have more focus on them tend to get better jobs and good advertisement deals. Banks get completely screwed over. Actors know what they're getting into they just don't know how it feels and how frustrating it can be, they underestimate it. Banks don't sign up to get robbed.
People are assholes so you can accept it, fight it or agree with it.
I don't know how much of this makes sense. I'm very tired and just wrote the first words that came into my mind. have fun! =P
