Anyone living southeast of Los Angeles, who felt the earthquake today?
Shortstuff
I just read it on Yahoo News! The earthquake registered 5.8 on the Richter scale.
If so, I hope you are safe & sound now.
Jamie.....They are scary indeed. When I lived in Ohio, I experienced three earthquakes. The last one was 5.8 also, but my home didn't sustain any damage & no one in my city was hurt.
Nick N.....I'm so glad you're friends are doing well.
Havas nana....I hope your uncle is okay. :)
Robert W...I hope you hear from your friends soon & that they're safe & sound.
Answer
Later down graded to a 5.4, eight miles deep, Chino Hills as epicenter. If you are not familiar with the Richter Scale each number is hundred times the previous, thus a 3 is hundred times greater than a 2. In the OC! Geezer World (Laguna Woods Village). I will take an earthquake over a hurricane any day. I have experienced both. This one was interesting but not really a big one, rather exciting actually.
