Is there a massive difference between a circumsized and an uncircumcised penis? Sexual and health wise?
Jack
I've also heard that it's becoming less popular so I'm worried that when I grow up it will become uncommon and strange to women.
1. I don't think it was for religious reasons (I'm catholic)
2. While I do appreciate long answers, please get down to the point.
3. I don't want to buy foreskin D:
I don't think it is "mutilation" I got it when I was born and have no memories what-so-ever. I just want to know some facts not your opinions.
And if your going to put up an argument then at LEAST give sources so I can research. I'm noticing a lot of anti-circumcision people who are giving no sources to their claims. Please if your gonna whine about it, then at least show some evidence.
Answer
I know you don't like the term "mutilation", but circumcision fits the dictionary definition exactly.
Sexually, there is a big difference. Sorry. The foreskin is the most sensitive part of the penis. To understand it simply, women who have had their clitoris removed can still have vaginal orgasms, and can still have sex. Circumcision does similar to men, and also tends to change the way they have sex. However, while circumcision is becoming uncommon, those who are already cut are already cut, so for people your own age it's not all that uncommon or strange. If you stick to women your own age rather than several decades younger than you it's unlikely to be an issue you'll face having circumcision being different and confronting.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DD2yW7AaZFw this is a more in-depth explanation of what foreskin is and it's ALL based on scientific findings such as counting nerve endings under microscope and identifying what nerve types they are. The foreskin is rich in Meisner's Corpuscles which are pleasure receptors.
http://www.cirp.org/library/disease/STD/fleiss3/ This is how the foreskin helps protect against infection. That site is the online collection of studies pertaining to foreskin and circumcision.
http://www.circinfo.org/cervical.html This is our Government's official website about circumcision. That particular page discusses how they've found that circumcision in men increases women's chances of acquiring cervical cancer, and explores the claims that circumcision reduces it in women.

http://www.drmomma.org/2009/07/sexual-effects-of-circumcision.html sensitivity chart. That whole site has a lot of info about circumcision. As you can see, the most sensitive part of the male human body is in the tip of the foreskin, especially in the inner part of it.
http://news.menshealth.com/is-your-circumcision-making-you-soft/2011/11/02/ this is an article about the study finding circumcised men are at 4.5 times greater risk of erectile dysfunction. According to Pfizer's sales of Viagra, the US and Israel account for almost all sales of Viagra. In Muslim countries where circumcision is performed, it's common to combine sex with drugs in order to gain fulfillment. In Yemen they considered outlawing a type of hashish, and it was seen as a direct attack on women, as it's considered normal for the men to smoke it before and during sex in order to please their wives.

The study can be found at the cirp library. In addition to that study, it has been repeated and the same results found over and over.
http://www.noharmm.org/IDcirc.htm damage commonly caused by circumcision. It should be noted that in the US and Israel 20% of all urology consultations are for circumcision problems.
The US is the ONLY developed country to carry out routine circumcision for reasons other than religious, and the US and Israel are the only 2 countries to do it to infants. And the US does not have lower rates of STI's, urethritis, meteal stenosis, HIV, yeast infections, balanitis, phimosis, paraphimosis nor any other infection or penile problem. In fact it has been said by many researchers that the reason they have the highest is caused partly by circumcision and incorrect foreskin care in the uncut due to extreme germ phobia for the biggest part. Those sites explain more.
