I'm just wanting to meet someone that isn't obsessed with trivial matters such as celebrity gossip and trying to be trendy 24/7. My ex was really immature, and I'm not sure many women fit the description of classy, when it comes to the USA. And to the women who are somewhat intelligent, they are usually too consumed with their career and personal success to be suitable partners.... *sigh*
Perhaps I'm looking for someone who doesn't exist.

Hmmm.... I am highly educated, quite intelligent, have a fabulous career and put my family before it, always. I, however, am happily married. There are plenty of women like me out there. Are you sure you are offering what we require in a partner?
Kindness, intelligence, great sense of humor, a little modest, witty enough to keep up, ambition and willing to blur traditional gender roles so she doesn't get stuck with 100% of the housework?
You are either looking in the wrong places or it's you. Seeing as how you seem to think that a woman is either into celebrity gossip and fashion OR she is 'somewhat intelligent'... I'm guessing it's you.

If I started recording everything women said a third of it would be gossip/drama/celebrity bs, another third would be lame fashion stuff, and the last stuff would be guys and the occasional profound thought (yea right...). Why can't women talk about anything that isn't petty, trivial or stupid? Exactly how is any of that supposed to be a turnon?

Well I think the younger ones talk about that kind of stuff. Maybe because all girls are sort of raised by media to think and act a certain way so they think what they are doing is right. you know? thats what comes to my mind when I wonder similar things... Im an 18 yr old girl and I do talk about that stuff but not 24/7. I mean... I have more important things to talk about than what this celebrity said to another. etc. also I think other guys might not care about what she talks about... but everyone has their own opinion so im not saying your wrong or anything. Just wondering, what would you want your woman to talk about? I'd like a guys point of view :) thanks! Good luck i hope this helps :)
