I know this is kind of late and old news, but can someone please tell me what is it about? I really want to know about it and i have tried looking it up on google, but many of the posts only mention bits and pieces of what happened. I want to understand what really happened. Thank you in advance!

The evening of 26 Feb 12, Trayvon was returning to the home of his fathers girlfriend. He had gone to the store to get Skittles for his brother and a can of iced tea for himself. George Zimmerman observed Trayvon returning to his home and determined he was suspicious. Zimmerman dialed 911 to report his suspicions. He gave the 911 dispatcher a description and opinion that Trayvon looked like he may have been on drugs. This dispatcher asked George Zimmerman if he was following Trayvon, Zimmerman said ..."yes". The dispatcher told George Zimmerman..."we don't need you to do that". Zimmerman said.."okay". Shortly afterward, a confrontation between the two is recorded. George Zimmerman is heard asking..."what are you doing here?" Trayvon is heard saying ..."why are you following me?". Witnesses call 911 to report the shrieking sounds of a kid screaming for help. While one witness is speaking to the dispatcher, a gunshot rings out. Trayvon Martin is dead.

Zimmerman he no choice. He had his head repeatedly smashed against concrete. Trayvon had no right to physically attack Zimmerman. I dont know why the parents and many are slandering Mr Zimmermans good name. He did what he had to do to live. It is all about survival

2) If you PAY ATTENTION to the 911 phone calls (played for the jury), George Zimmerman got out of his car and "pursued" Trayvon because the 911 operator ASKED for an ADDRESS.
