Jesus had publicly associated with women â even outcast women such as prostitutes and Samaritans â at a time when few rabbis would be caught speaking to any woman outside of his own family.
No, the Apostle Paul did not give the church license to dominate women. Paul's ultimate hope for both men and women was that there would be no distinctions within the church. As he put it in his letter to the Church at Galatia, "There is neither Jew nor Greek, slave nor free, male nor female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus." Now that's radical stuff.
This is not the first time the church has had to escape the clutches of biblical injunctions that have no place in today's world. St. Paul ordered slaves to submit to their masters and masters to be good to their slaves. He never even hinted that a better option for masters would be to free their slaves. Even the most literalistic interpreters of Scripture now concede that for one person to enslave another is sin. Yet, during the 19th century, Southerners, of whom I am one, used the Bible to justify their sin. Two centuries and a bloody civil war later, we should know better.>

Why does the court system let women abuse it?

When they are taken out 50B"s. The system just takes their word for it. And the women that really need it are just put to the side. I have seen this many many times. And it is wrong. Alot of men don't do the things that these women say they do. And this looks bad on other women.

Exactly. Two years ago my wife had a "PFA" put on me, and the things she accused me of even the sheriff and his deputies didn't believe. In fact, the female deputy called her a "lying bitch".
My wife's daughter got her believing that I had a hand-gun that I was going to use to kill her and my two sons. That damnable lie will follow that little tramp to her judgement day, as it crossed all lines of toleration. The "PFA" also alledged that I "mentally abused" my wife (I actually had the audacity to ask her on whom or what she was spending the $500 a week I was giving her on my payday), and that I wrecked our house on a nightly basis. Of course, none of this stuff was true, but that didn't matter to the all-woman run "Domestic Violence" office the next town over.
I did some research and found out from a lawyer's website that in Colorado in 2004, over 8,000 PFA's were filed over a ten year period, and out of those 8,000 would you like to know how many were actually true in form and content?

I live in Pennsylvania, and two years ago there was a story in the local news about a guy who had been arrested after his wife of 17 years filed a "PFA" on him. Yeah. He came home from work one night to find the County sheriff sitting in his driveway waiting to serve him with the papers.
Two weeks later, he was driving by his house with a friend after work one night just in time to see his wife of 17 years coming out the front door with her "new boyfriend", arm-in-arm, all "lovy-dovy" and smoochy-smooching each other.
The guy burned the house down that he and his father had built so he could raise his family there (he had two daughters to this wench), and now he's sitting in State prison for the next 7 years while his "faithful and loving" wife of 17 years divorces him while he's in prison, and is already planning her honeymoon with her new "man".
You're right; crap like this happens on a mass scale every year, yet the men are the "predators and violators" of these slutty women who are leading these men around on a chain.
I'm not saying that women don't get abused; what I am saying for a categorical fact is that it doesn't happen on the grand-scale that all the feminazis at these "Domestic Violence" shops say it does. Of course they're going to say such tripe; their livelihoods depend on that government grant money.
Oh, yeah- my wife went to the judge and had the PFA she swore out against me dropped. We're back together, but it's slow-going gaining back any trust I once had for her. I also told her that her daughter simply needed to stop calling and just stay away for all of eternity.
