PHOENIX, Ariz. - Sheriff Joe Arpaio is preparing for another local immigration sweep, and the Sheriff says it will happen somewhere in Phoenix before the end of the month.
Arpaio says this latest sweep is in response to the overwhelming number of drop houses and illegal aliens his deputies have recently found.
The Sheriff's critics say his crime sweeps are nothing more than racial profiling.
