EEK! dont listen to what she wrote! She must have misunderstood the qestion! But on that note what do you mean by "popular alternative news" That is fairly vague in this day and age... What are you looking for? ...but without this info I can say that CBC is better than all of the aforementioned sources. And if you aren't looking for any specific story or content I would suggest my personal favorite radio show "As It Happens" which always has alternative interviews on current events. http://www.radio.cbc.ca/programs/asithappens/
