I know the manga is since it outsold even Dragon Ball (The previous most popular) but I'm wondering about the anime.
But recently the Strong World DVD sold 120,000 copies during its first week of release. Also 2nd, 3rd and 4th place were also One Piece DVDs. And it got me wondering.

In Japan, One Piece is the most popular anime as of the moment. It's a good show and deserves its #1 ranking in Japan.
Internationally however, Dragon Ball Z sales still far outstrip One Piece or any other anime, One Piece didn't do so good internationally as the 4Kids dub was aired first on Television and as any One Piece fan knows, 4Kids massacred One Piece and turned it into a sick joke.

In the third week of January 2010, Fox News was the highest rated basic cable channel in primetime. This marked the first time that a news network led the primetime ratings, beating out entertainment networks such as USA, TNT, and TBS. Also in January 2010, Public Policy Polling reported that Fox News was the most trusted television news network in the country with 49% of respondents stating they trust Fox News. Fox also scored the lowest level of distrust with only 37%, and was the only network to score a net positive in that regard, with a +12%. CNN scored second in the poll with 39% of those polled stating that they trusted the network, and 41% stating distrust, a -2% net score.
