Name that song from the 90s (I think)?

Leo

It's strange the things you think about when you're high.

I remember watching this video on MTV sometime in the 90s. It's some DJ messing with samples and beats. I only saw it once and never again. It probably wasn't very popular.
Anyway, the whole video switches (mostly) between this CNN news chick with a peroxide perm talking about LSD and a drummer playing some riffs. The DJ has basically chopped the hell out of lots of stuff this woman has reported and made her say some really wacky stuff.

If you remember this track, let me know. OMG, there is a really hot sheriff on TV.

That definitely sounds like the band EBN (Emergency Broadcast Network). They would take movie & CNN news clips and mix them up with beats to make songs. It sounds like the song "Comply" that you are referring to. I've included the youtube link for this video.

The song "Get Down, Get Down" is a combo of CNN and a Harrison Ford movie clip combined with other music videos (Mariah Carey, old jazz vids, etc.)

I have the vhs in the provided link. It is an amazing video collection that can screw with your mind in certain conditions. They even have a warning that it may cause epileptic seizures to those with that affliction. They happen to be from my hometown of Providence, RI.

Looking for a name of a TV series, late 80s/early 90s?

I grew up in Germany where I watched this series but I know the series was originally either a US or UK series, so hopefully you guys know what I'm talking about.
The series was about a girl (Stephanie) who totally dolled herself up at school. She left her house looking normal because of her parents, and then on the way to school or at school she would put on a miniskirt and put on a ton of make-up, etc. There was also a character named Joey something (Myer?)
I just can't think of the name of this series.
They aired it in germany in the early 90s (or possibly late 80s)

Answer
Good news- this show is still on! It's Canadian and started out as the Kids of Degrassi Street . (1979â1986) now it's Degrassi- the next generation. The character of Joey Jermiah you mentioned was quite popular! Check out updates of the show below. Just Google 'Degrassi' and you will find all four of the show's reincarnations since 1979!
