Government spending cannot create anything but government jobs.
The private sector is the only place where new jobs can come from.
All that stimulus money is TAX money, meaning it comes out of the
pockets of the taxpayers, and gets redistributed to others who are
usually not paying taxes, and are not likely to generate new jobs.

All the government needs to do is set up an environment that is
friendly to business, and the jobs will follow. But they will never do
that, because business is currently in the process of being made
into a villian. As long as that continues, there will be no improvement
in the economy. Just bigger government. Hmmm, maybe that's the
true objective.
