0! It really is a shame that an Olympic athlete would act like that. It's irresponsible behavior on the part of people that are looked up to that explains why so many people make bad choices!

and not much else of significance. Being weird is more important to young minds than trying to balance life and it's emotional highs and it's lows to anchor to reality! That is to be excited over things that lift the spirit and bear truth rather than that which debases human potential and leaves emptiness in the soul! The unreal mindset today is just get a minuscule portion of knowledge and to memorize the celebrities and know about their suggested life-style.

This has always been the case, but we never had to watch it on TV.

These shows are all the same, just gossip in video! Soap operas in real life. You can stop watching for months and still know exactly what is going on, NOTHING!!!!

What do you think of people that read celebrity gossip magazines?

What sort of people read them? Who reads those magazines at the grocery store checkout counter that have stories that are obviously made up? Have you seen any of those headlines that are so stupid it is funny?

Ya i know they are all so fake, but people including me like to read them just out of curiosity. Thats how the people who make these stories make a living. So i would say a curious person reads these, or a person who is oblivious to the fact that THESE STORIES ARE FAKE, and another thing i have noticed is sometimes they have a cover storie on the front like i saw one that said rob patinson and kristen stewart (sorry if i spelled their name wrong) are getting married but on the inside it says that rob only says that as an icebreaker so they just lure you in to buying things that arent a big deal, so ya i hope that answers your question

Why do girls love to talk about themselves?

It's the number one thing they are good at. It amazes me at how much calories women can burn by talking incessantly about themselves. I have talked to so many girls that I eventually developed a "Tune Out" or "Tune In" mechanism. I can't have an intelligent conversation with any of them. They get bored with topics such as religion, business, politics, but not celebrities, gossips, and weddings.

This is the majority of women.

Because they don't get enough compliments from guys. It's their way of placating themselves, make themselves feel better about who they think they are.

Believe me, there are intelligent women out there. You might be pleasantly surprised. Just don't settle for less than you desire in all facets of a woman when you are looking for one to pick to stay with. A good body and a pretty face don't go too far and from that, it is easy to stray. A well educated woman who is patient, kind, loving, funny, and intelligent can reflect back to you who you really are.

Don't give up...

If you hang out at a university for law students, medicine, psychology, or art, you might get lucky faster. Nothing wrong with a good educated man either. Well educated, intelligent women appreciate them too.

What is so appealing about crappy shows like "The Hills"?

There is nothing redeeming about this show. IT DOESN'T PROVIDE ITS AUDIENCE WITH TALENTED ENTERTAINERS. LET ME REPEAT THAT: IT DOESN'T PROVIDE ITS AUDIENCE WITH TALENTED ENTERTAINERS. Reality shows aren't entertaining. Name one thing entertaining about reality shows--oh that's right, you can't!

Fans of the Hills are even worse. They like celebrity gossip and can't think for themselves. They are posers to the fullest extent.

Haha, lucy is funny.
I make fun of reality stars (Heidi and Spencer annoy the crap out of me), but I would kill myself if I ever became them, let alone am I jealous.

Anyway.

Unfortunately its not all about talent anymore. Its about gossip, shock value, etc. Annoying girls like to gossip and fight over dumb guys themselves, so of course they enjoy watching others doing it too.
