what's up with all this celebrity gossip?

I am really sick of the celebraty gossip, its everywhere. I want to know whats the big fascination with what Trump and O'Donnell say, or Kid Rock making a fool out of his self. Does America really find that interesting? Is there not enough drama in other concerns, or in their own lives? Truth be told, is it all about getting attention or squeezing that last 15 minutes of fame?

I'm fifteen years old, and I have to admit that I do get sucked into all of the Hollywood gossip and fame. I spend numerous hours on the computer each day checking up on it all. Yes, I have a social life, but sometimes I feel like celebrities sidetrack me. I know it sounds silly, but I see it happening in my friends as well. Celebrity addiction is a big problem with people my age these days, and I truly do hate it. It does not affect things such as my grades considering that I have a 4.0, but I don't even feel like that is enough. I believe that America as a whole buys into an image that is nonexistent. I'm aware that Megan Fox doesn't look like Megan Fox, but the image that is sold has got me obsessing over what I eat, the way I dress, the way I apply my makeup, my skin. I know it's not healthy, but I feel like no matter how far I go it will never be good enough. It's been weighing on my mind a lot lately and I feel as if I can not shake the thoughts from my head. I feel like I have to be someone I am not to get any where in this world. My family sees a change in me, and I honestly don't know what to do. I know it may be a little hard to understand why this affects me the way that it does, but if you can understand it, please give me any suggestions as to how I can just feel more comfortable with myself and stop obsessing over things that really aren't important.

I guess I don't technically 'obsess' over my weight because that would mean having an eating disorder. I wouldn't go that far.

First let me get it out there Im 13. Second PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE DON'T OBSESS ABOUT YOUR WEIGHT (AKS WHAT YOU EAT) THE WAY YOU DRESS ETC. It really really isn't healthy at all. Yeah sometimes I feel like I may not be thin enough because I don't fit in a size 0 and im an extra extra small and I have pimples and zits (which honestly I could care less about) Let me tell you Ashley Greene and Kristen Stewart are some of my idols. And I do try to loss weight but its not healthy... I have a small story there was this girl who would Look at a magazine pick out a thin girl and turn to her friend and be like next week ill be this thin the next week she would be that thin and she would pick a thinner girl and she would do the same she ended up dying... PLEASE dint obsess over that... Yeah its fine to do small things like celebrities (Trust me I try to dress like them) but please just be who you are don't become anorexic and all this other crap you here celebrities are doing.................... We all cant be barbies with it wouldn't be possible.

i'm not into celebrity gossip or anything, but this makes me so mad! I saw the "fat" pictures but she still looks amazing! Shes still smaller than most girls! why do people expect celeb's to look perfect all the time? they are human!

I got an ipad for Christmas. I like to use it for watching Netflix, reading the news and celebrity gossip, and playing fun apps. But sometimes I feel bored with it. Does anybody have a suggestion of an app or a website, or just a personal story of what they use their ipad for? I didn't really ask for this tablet, but I am very grateful for it and want to use it to the fullest!

If you have tried all these and you are still having problems take it to an Apple Store, or an authorized service provider. If you are within your manufacturer warranty period they may be able to exchange the defective charger, adapter, cable, or unit (it depends on what is actually causing the charging issue.)
